Kindle Fire Root

Please find below the steps to root your kindle fire:


1) Download the apk file from HERE


2)  Install the app.When you run the program make sure you select the YES when it ask's about root and ALLOW.


3) Then download the script files from HERE 


4) Open root browser again, navigate to your /sdcard/download folder and you should see smirkit.zip


5) Tap it, choose EXTRACT, then EXTRACT TO, now tap "back" so that you are  at /sdcard and then at the bottom tap EXTRACT.Make sure the folders are setup like /sdcard/smirkit, not sdcard/smirkit/smirkit.


6) Now navigate to /sdcard/smirkit and you should see the following:
1.Hashcode 1.4a
2.TWRP2.1.1 
3.Stock Recovery
4.Stock Bootloader 
/files
flash.sh

7) Ok now the phone is ready for installing custom roms etc. These are the script files which have to be run, to get in to a particular mode, which is required when installing a custom rom etc. Don't simply run them if not required.
